Introducing the new Limitless™ WLS Heavy-Duty Wireless Limit Switches, the latest in Honeywell Sensing and Control's series of wireless limit switches, combining the best of MICRO SWITCH™ HDLS heavy-duty limit switches with the latest wireless technology. Limitless™ Series switches have the same durable design, temperature ratings, and sealing as standard MICRO SWITCH™ limit switches, but they're wireless. Wireless offers advantages over traditional wired switches by reducing total installed costs as there are no wires to install, no wear-and-tear to mend, and no cords to ever replace. The Limitless™ Series allows for increased flexibility for temporary, remote, permanent, and reconfigurable installations.
Honeywell's Limitless™ WLS Wireless Switch uses a global, license-free RF wireless 802.15.4 WPAN protocol, and has up to a 305 m (1000 ft) line-of-sight communication range, yet consumes low power to prolong battery life. It also features an EN 50041 metal enclosure for operation in tough environments and conforms to IP67 and NEMA 1, 3, 4, 6, 6P, 12 and 13 standards.
