Banner Engineering is
introducing new Q4X models optimized for higher performance over a shorter
measuring range. The new 100 mm models, available with the same bipolar
discrete (NPN PNP) and analog (0-10 V or 4-20 mA) output options as the
longer range 300 mm models, offer twice the measurement precision and a 25%
smaller laser spot for detecting small features. Discrete models can now
detect objects as thin as 0.5 mm while analog models more precisely inspect
part dimensions and positioning with resolution down to 0.15 mm.
