Phoenix Contact continues the expansion of the TOOL fox product line with the release of the Cutfox-ES series, three industrial-grade electrician’s scissors.
The Cutfox-ES 1 is designed for cutting up to 8 AWG and removing the insulation on up to 2 AWG cables. The Cutfox-ES 2 is designed for cutting, stripping, and crimping. It will cut and remove the jacket of a cable up to 1/0, strip 16 and 14 AWG, and crimp 10 AWG ring lugs. And the Cutfox-MPS is designed to cut plastic sheets and cardboard. The new scissors are an extension of the Cutfox-ES, suitable for Kevlar fibers and braided-shield cables up to 16 AWG solid conductors, or 10 AWG stranded conductors.

Phoenix Contact introduces Crimpfox 16R TWIN, crimping pliers for twin ferrules according to UL 486F with a VM crimp profile. The twin ferrule crimper, part of the TOOL fox product line, has three marked die stations for 6, 8, and 10 American Wire Gauge. It offers an unlockable pressure lock, lateral entry, robust, durable solid construction, and features ergonomic handles with a non-slip pressure pad.
