Banner Engineering Illumination + Indication in One Robust Multicolor Light Fixture

Banner's new WLS27 Multicolor LED Strip Lights with EZ-STATUS™ is available in three- and five-color models, providing brilliant, bright illumination and high-visibility indication in one robust light fixture. They have the same rugged build, compact design, and attractive cylindrical shape as other LED lights in the WLS27 Series, making them a versatile solution suitable for use in diverse applications and challenging environments.

FEATURES
  • Simplify machine operation and troubleshooting: Proper illumination allows operators to more effectively monitor processes and perform manual tasks. A change in color of one light can direct staff to the area on the machine that needs attention, allowing users to quickly identify and resolve problems.
  • Increase productivity and quality: The WLS27 allows staff to focus on tasks without diverting attention to monitor status. It provides vivid bright light to help workers complete tasks quickly and correctly. When a change in status occurs, the WLS27 fills the work area with colored light corresponding to the new condition, providing an unmistakable alert to staff within natural sightlines.
  • Improve traffic flow and safety: The WLS27 makes it easy to find and safely navigate entry points and intersections in areas where forklifts and other mobile equipment are present. The white light increases visibility and safety within an area, and color changes provide clear indication at the natural focal point whenever equipment is approaching, a gate is opening or closing, or other traffic conditions occurs.

Turck IM12 Cabinet Condition Monitor for Non-Hazardous Areas

Turck announces the IM12-CCM (Cabinet Condition Monitor) cabinet guard, a device capable of monitoring moisture and temperature limits while also detecting incorrectly closed doors. As an added benefit, the device monitors unauthorized access to switch cabinets, providing protection against manipulation in compliance with IT security regulations. The slim 12.5 mm DIN-rail cabinet guard can be easily installed in existing switch cabinets due to its compact design.

The IM12-CCM features an internal data logger with time stamp and stores data for up to two years, allowing you to detect creeping changes over long periods of time. An interface enables two cabinet guards to be operated in master-slave mode simultaneously, monitoring correct door closing and other limit values at two points within the control cabinet. The master processes the data of the slave and sends a signal to the controller.

The standard IM12-CCM comes with two switch contacts and an IO-Link interface. Quick teach mode enables the user to set the limit values easily in the field. Alternatively, parameters can be set via IO-Link or an FDT framework such as PACTware.

The IM12-CCM is the second cabinet guard in the Turck portfolio, serving as a supplement to the IMX12-CCM module, which is intended for use in hazardous areas.

Turck PT2000 Pressure Transmitters for Hydraulic Systems

Turck has expanded its line of PT2000 pressure transmitters with the release of a variant for use in hydraulic systems.

With a list of features that includes an SAE fitting, stainless cell, gel filled housing, and an integrated snubber to reduce the damaging effects of pressure spikes, these transmitters provide an ideal solution for demanding hydraulic applications.

The SAE #4 and SAE #6 process connections are particularly important, as they are commonly used for hydraulic equipment in North America.

The new transmitters, which offer a welded stainless steel measuring cell for increased durability and increased chemical compatibility, have no elastomer seals and all wetted materials are 316L stainless steel. Additionally, the housing is more compact than existing solutions, suiting it for applications with space constraints. The transmitters are available in multiple pre-scaled pressure ranges from 30 to 14,500 psig.

The new variant also offers multiple output signals, allowing the sensor to adapt to your existing control circuitry, including 4-20 mA, 0-10 V, ratiometric, 1-6 V, and 0-5 V. Additionally, it carries an IP67 rating and works with media temperatures up to 135 °C.

Leuze Electronic Long Distance Actuator ST Series Safety Switches

Leuze Electronic goes the distance with their long distance actuator for the ST series safety switches!

A new actuator to be combined with the ST series safety sensors equipped with RFID technology is now available.

Compared to the standard version, with an activation distance of 12 mm, the new actuator has an activation distance of 18 mm. Leuze Electronic is one the first manufacturers to offer this type of actuator, which is ideal when a precise distance between the sensor and actuator cannot be guaranteed.

The ST series features an electronic system based on RFID technology to detect the actuator. This system gives a different coding to each actuator and makes it impossible to tamper with a device by using another actuator belonging to the same series. The actuators may have millions of different coding combinations, and are therefore classified as actuators with a high coding level, according to EN ISO 14119 .

The new SM actuator has fixing holes with a center-to-center distance of 35 x 28 mm and like the standard version it is available with a high or low encoding level.
