Heyco Products Solar Masthead II Cordgrips

Heyco is happy to announce that the Heyco Solar Masthead™ II Cordgrips are now UL recognized under file E51579 to both Canadian and US requirements.

Benefits/characteristics of the Solar Masthead™II Cordgrips include:

• Temperature rating of ‐22°F(‐30°C) to 212°F (100°C)

Due to the thin membrane of Santoprene covering the gland, the user can choose how many wires to use, from 1 to 13, by piercing the wire through the dimpled portion of the gland. Regardless of how many wires used, the gland around the wires will retain a liquid tight seal.

Heyco Masthead™ Cordgrips can be used for solar rooftop installations in place of or in conjunction with rooftop combiner boxes for faster connection and lower installed cost. They are less expensive, easier to install and more aesthetically pleasing than combiner boxes when making ground level connections directly to an inverter. The Cordgrips are threaded into an adapter (also available for purchase through Heyco – PN 8660 & 8661) that can be attached directly to rigid (PVC) or EMT type conduit.

Heyco Snap-In Ratcheting Strain Relief

Heyco is pleased to announce that their popular Snap-In Ratcheting Strain Relief (PN 1280) is now removable. The Ratcheting Strain Relief can be easily removed by inserting standard snap ring pliers with .040” tips (Heyco PN 0054) into the two holes located on the outside of the part (see drawing below). Plus, they have lowered the price of this part!

In addition to being removable, the Snap-In Ratcheting Strain Relief offers the following benefits:

• Assembly friendly! Independent of insertion into the panel, the Ratcheting Strain Relief self-locks onto the cable. Thus, it may be preassembled offline for final assembly at a later time or remote location for lower installed cost.
• Installs easily with fingertip pressure into a standard round or Double “D” hole.
• Currently available for one hole size (.875 with .770 flats). Contact Heyco for additional sizes.
• Unique wire locking ratchet allows for generous wire range from .115” (2,9mm) to .575” (14,6mm)
• Can be used for one cable or multiple cables (round or flat wire)
• UL recognized under file E15331

Heyco Products Push Lock and Snap Lock Cable Clamps

Heyco Products' new Push Lock and Snap Lock cable clamps securely hold cable or tubing in place, with quick and easy installation.  The locking feature allows for pre-assembly on wire for ease of installation.  These cable clamps resist corrosion, salt water, weak acids, grease and common solvents.

The Push Lock clamps feature push in arrows for easy installation with no additional hardware.  The Snap Lock clamps lock securely, but can be removed and reused.
