SMC Corporation of America's HRL is a temperature control device featuring two independent cooling channels in one package. This thermo-chiller is designed to cool the optical head and oscillator of a laser processing system. Considerable space savings can be realized compared to a two chiller solution.

All operations can be managed from a single touch panel. A triple inverter controls power consumption of the fan, pump, and compressor for optimal energy savings. The heating function uses waste heat from the refrigerant discharge instead of a separate electric heater to improve efficiency and reliability. The HRL is copper free and suitable for DI water, including a DI filter and electrical conductivity control kit. Additional standard features include a 5µm particle filter, earth leakage breaker, and casters for mobility.

SMC Pneumatics' JXC*1 is a single axis controller for their LE series 24VDC step motors compatible with several fieldbus protocols including Ethernet/IP fieldbus. Actuator motors can be operated by calling a line of step data or by direct numerical instruction, each possible over the network. SMC Pneumatics introduces their new AS-FS in-line speed controller.  The AS-FS includes an indicator window for numerical verification of flow rate setting.   The large push-lock adjustment knob allows you to quickly and easily set the flow rate.

Using SMC speed controls with built in one-touch fittings minimizes installation time, reduces mounting height and enables a more compact machine design. These speed controls allow the body to be rotated to facilitate simple installation.
