IDEC RV8H Interface Relay

IDEC has added to the RV8H interface relay series by adding a 110-125V AC/DC coil version with a higher than standard voltage dropout when shutting off. IDEC KW2D Series Smart RFID Readers

IDEC's KW2D series smart RFID increases tracking, security, access levels, and productivity of applications. Built for easy integration into industrial systems, this RFID device lets OEM and end users implement secure equipment identification, access control, and traceability.

IDEC MicroSmart FC6A PLCs now support MQTT–The IIoT Protocol

IDEC has released a firmware upgrade that enables MQTT protocol support in its MicroSmart FC6A Plus line of PLCs. The IIoT protocol is supported on Ethernet port 1, so the FC6A can use existing wired, Wi-Fi, or mobile data wireless networking to connect with on-site or cloud-based brokers. No additional hardware is needed. Users can take advantage of the traditional PLC control logic and I/O functionality, or they can use the FC6A as an IIoT data concentrator for many other PLCs and intelligent devices. The FC6A with MQTT supports Amazon Web Services AWS IoT Core today, with future support planned for Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
