New Products from Honeywell Sensing and Control

SS30AT Bipolar Hall-Effect Magnetic Position Sensors
Honeywell has expanded its bipolar Hall-effect sensor product line with the new SS30AT Bipolar Hall-Effect Magnetic Position Sensor, available in a subminiature SOT-23 surface mount package that takes up less space on the printed circuit board. Available on tape and reel, the SS30AT often allows for lower-cost pick and place assembly, helping to reduce manufacturing costs.

HSC and SSC Series Plastic Silicon Pressure Sensors
The new HSC Series and SSC Series offer different accuracies and compensated temperature ranges that address specific segment needs. These devices offer customers three key benefits not found in competitive plastic silicon sensors: stability, accuracy, and flexibility. The HSC Series offers an industry-leading ±1 % high accuracy specification, compensated across a 0 °C to 50 °C [32 °F to 122 °F] temperature range; the SSC Series offers a ±2 % standard accuracy specification compensated across a wider
-20 °C to 85 °C [-4 °F to 185 °F] temperature range. These sensors are intended for use with non-corrosive, non-ionic working fluids such as air and dry gases.

FSS-SMT Series Force Sensors
Honeywell is expanding its Force Sensor product line to include the FSS-SMT Series, a low profile surface mount technology (SMT) device that fills a gap in our portfolio. The FSS-SMT Series allows customers to use the device as a through hole or as a true SMT for automated assembly on a printed circuit board, often eliminating hand soldering and helping to reduce assembly costs.
