Banner Engineering K50 and K30 Pro Series Software Indicators

Banner Engineering's Pro indicators are programmable multi-color indicators that can be configured with a variety of colors and animation options in-field. This capability was formerly only available with Banner’s IO-Link indicators, but it is now available with discretely controlled indicators thanks to the new Pro Editor Software.

The Pro Editor software allows you to easily customize indicators with a wide variety of color and animation options. It is an ideal solution for you who don’t use IO-Link, but who want more control and customization than a standard indicator provides. The Pro Editor software is currently compatible with K30 Pro and K50 Pro models and must be used with a Pro Converter Cable, which is sold separately.

FEATURES
  • Give your machines a voice: A wide variety of color and animation options allow for more intuitive indication in the visual factory. For example, use a “50/50 rotate” animation to show machine warmup time so operators can clearly identify when the machine is ready for use. In addition, distinct colors can help users quickly identify error information with no confusion from standard indicator colors. OEMs can also use color to reinforce their brand and add a unique look to their machines.

  • Gain control of your supply chain: Programmable indicators make supply chains more efficient by allowing customers to standardize on one model that can be customized in the field. This saves inventory costs and reduces spare parts for end users and OEMs alike. The Pro Editor makes it easy to save and load configuration files onto the device.

  • Customize indication without additional lead time: Compatible indicators work out of the box with seven standard colors, with no programming required. From there, you can modify indication as needed. Choose from a wide variety of colors and animations to match process requirements, and preview settings on the device before deployment. To change settings, simply reprogram the device.
