New to Banner Engineering’s Vantage Line series of fiber optics are opposed mode plastic fibers with a one-piece fiber and lens construction. The integrated glass ball lens:
- Simplifies installation
- Ensures that the lens will not fall out in high-vibration applications
- Is more cost-effective than purchasing plastic fibers and a separate lens assembly
- Provides a very narrow beam which minimizes the chance of light reflecting around a target in dense sensing environments
