Pepperl+Fuchs CC-Link RFID Controller

Pepperl+Fuchs introduces IC-KP2-2HB18-2V1D IDENTControl compact RFID Controllers with CC-Link communication. CC-Link is a common upper-level bus system used almost exclusively by Mitsubishi PLCs. These CC-link RFID controllers also support CC-Link V2. This functionality facilitates extended cyclic settings resulting in a large data map, making it easier and faster to read and write large amounts of information to the RFID system. These IP67 controllers are fully compatible with any Pepperl+Fuchs RFID read head for low frequency (125 kHz), high frequency (13.56 MHz) or ultra high frequency (915 MHz) operation.

“This two-head controller communicates to both read/write heads simultaneously. It also incorporates a new advanced RFID protocol that provides positive feedback to the user when a new tag has arrived, and allows for large read/write data blocks that are limited only by the read/write head's internal memory size,” says Tim Cicerchi, Product Manager, Pepperl+Fuchs.

Pepperl+Fuchs RFID controllers are the most rugged in the industry thanks to their powder-coated zinc alloy housing. M12 connectors facilitate quick connection of the read heads, power, CC-Link in, and CC-Link out cables. A Y cable accessory is available that enables the CC-Link RFID controllers to be daisy chained and hot swappable without disturbing other CC-Link devices on the network. Also, a terminator is available for applications where the CC-Link RFID controller is the last device in line.

Pepperl+Fuchs is a world leader in the design, manufacture and application of high quality factory and process automation products and services. Pepperl+Fuchs pioneered the development of proximity sensors 50 years ago, and has set the standard for innovation and quality ever since.

Banner Engineering EZ-LIGHT S18L General Purpose Indicator Lights

The Banner Engineering S18L general purpose indicator lights are ideal as stand-alone indicators or enclosed in a panel for numerous application purposes. Models are available with up to three independent colors in one unit and multiple colors to choose from for easy to-to-use indication on the factory floor. The entire translucent diffuser or dome of the S18L provides highly bright LEDs for simple, cost-effective indication.

FEATURES

  • Multiple colors available, including green, red, yellow, blue, white, orange, turquoise, violet, sky blue and magenta.
  • Up to three independent colors in one unit.
  • Translucent face appears gray when OFF to avoid false indication.
  • M12 Euro connector models available for plug and play indication.
  • Cost-effective indicators for stand-alone use or as part of a panel.
  • Fits anywhere along a conveyor or manufacturing line for simple setup.
  • Wide 180º field of view.
  • Wide 10 to 30V dc operating range allows for use in battery powered mobile applications.
  • Available with PNP or NPN input, depending on model IP69K rated to withstand harsh wash-down environments.
  • Gasketed face flange for sealing to enclosures.

Banner Engineering SSA-EB 30mm Mount E-Stop Buttons

Banner Engineering’s round, 30 mm mount E-Stop buttons are ideal for many emergency stop safety applications with bright, highly visible indication. The easy to install E-Stops are available with two-color yellow and red lighting, red lighting only, or a non-illuminated black base. EZ-LIGHT logic provides an illuminated yellow base when the button is armed and the machine is enabled to RUN or is running, and turns to a flashing red indication whenever the button is pushed. The base of an armed button can also turn to a steady red indication (from yellow) when a STOP condition exists by applying an external signal.

FEATURES

  • Easy installation and hookup with no assembly, individual wiring or additional enclosure required
  • Reduces intensive labor costs with a fully enclosed E-Stop button ready for installation
  • Illuminated models with yellow and red (flash) indication of actuation (armed or depressed/latched button) and machine status (solid red - optional) allows for easy identification of an actuated button
  • Non-illuminated models with various contact configurations such as 2 NC, 1 NC/1 NO and 2 NC/2 NO; illuminated models with 2 NC and a PNP NO auxiliary output
  • Rugged design rated to IP65 with a 30 mm mounting base

SMC Pneumatics MY1H Mechanically Jointed Rodless Cylinders

SMC Pneumatics has redesigned their MY1H series of Mechanically Jointed Rodless Cylinders with several design improvements:
  • Piping capability on all four cover surfaces makes it easier to connect the air supply.
  • Auto switch (D-M9x and D-A9x) can be mounted in any desired position with a mounting bracket, making sensor positioning simple.
  • New dust seal band design greatly extends service life due to less contaminants entering the cylinder.
  • Offers a 6% reduction in weight, while maintaining the same mounting and performance.
  • Speed controller can be mounted on the back, reducing the cylinder installation area significantly.
  • Cushion needle adjustment has been moved from the side to the top, making adjustments easier.
  • Linear guide achieves a higher repeatability.

SMC Pneumatics AS-DPP Speed Controller

SMC Pneumatics' specialized AS-DPP Speed Controller is constructed with the inlet and outlet on the same surface.  The built-in one-touch fittings minimize installation time, while reducing the mounting height and enabling a more compact machine design.

AS-DPP speed controllers accommodates nylon, soft nylon and polyurethane tubing with 4 and 6mm outer diameters.

An index plate allows space to affix a label for easy identification.
