The HARTING RJ Industrial® 10G is the next generation of the world's first RJ45 connector requiring no tools for connection. This new RJ45 connector features a future-proof design for 10 Gigabit Ethernet. The connection is made reliably and quickly using proven insulation displacement terminal technology. The insulation displacement terminals are designed for rigid and flexible conductors with an extremely broad range of wire cross-sections.
Cables with diameters from 4.5 to 9 mm are securely fixed in place in the connector with a newly developed cable gland. This allows users to connect all customary Ethernet cable types with this one RJ45 connector type. Thanks to its compact design, the rugged and industry-standard IP 20 model is also suitable for multi-port RJ45 jacks. In addition to the IP 20 models, all known IP 65/67 PushPull types up to Han® 3A are now available with this new insert.

IDEC 12VDC OI Touchscreens for Solar, Oil, Gas & Mobile Applications

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, IDEC announces a new 5.7” HG2G model with 12V DC power, the perfect solution for customers with solar applications including traffic and road sign controls, or tracking systems where an OI touchscreen is used to monitor and control. The 12V DC HG2G is also ideal for remote water pumping stations and injection systems, especially those limited to battery-power or low-voltage solar energy. The lower voltage also makes it safer for use in the gas and oil industry. Mobile applications such as utility trucks can use the OI touchscreen for engine management or controlling lights, heat, air and accessories. Applications are endless with the 12V DC model, especially since it eliminates the need for DC-to-DC converters, which can compromise performance.
With a vivid screen and competitive pricing, the 5.7” HG2G offers more functionality for less. A super-bright LCD screen provides crisp images and superior visibility making touchscreens easy-to read even in intense light or at an angle. Behind the screen, panel depth is only 36mm, making HG2G the best choice for limited spaces.
The HG2G 5.7” LCD touchscreen is available as a monochrome (500cd/m2, the brightest in the market) or 256-color (350cd/m2) display. An optional built-in Ethernet port (10/100 BaseT) allows remote communications with PLCs by using a supported Network Driver in 1:1 or 1:N Communications. Supported drivers include IDEC (using the Web Server module), Allen Bradley, Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP/IP. Uploading, downloading and monitoring projects and data over the Ethernet means customers save time and money by working remotely.
HG2G is RS232/RS485/RS422 compatible and supports IDEC PLCs, as well as all major PLC manufacturers. In addition, HG2G supports a wide range of other communication capabilities including 1:N PLC, O/I Link (HG2G Series only), User and Sub Host communication.
HG2G is programmed using IDEC WindO/I-NV2 software, which is intuitive using drag-and-drop functionality. A free 30-day demo is available at www.IDEC.com/demos.
All HG2G models are CE-marked, c-UL-us listed, NEMA 13 rated and have IP65 protection.

Pepperl+Fuchs AS-I G11 Modules for IP68/69k Operation

Pepperl+Fuchs introduces the G11 Module for AS-Interface specification 3.0. The AS-Interface G11 module delivers all the features one expects from larger, bulkier modules such as 4in/4out, a multi function LED on each port, sturdy mounting base, short circuit output protection and high 4 Amp output current, but in a significantly smaller 85 mm diameter housing. The AS-Interface G11 module boasts eight M12 input/output connections, and can be mounted in any orientation for significant mounting and operational flexibility. When the G11 is mounted to a machine, the AS-Interface flat cable can be routed in any direction for a perfect fit each and every time.
“Size, quick connection, and mounting flexibility are just the beginning. With an innovative clean design, the G11’s smooth housing prevents dirt and oil from accumulating. It’s also the first AS-Interface module on the market to incorporate two radial O-rings that ride on precision conical housing components, with optimal O-ring mounting pressure guaranteed by design to deliver an impressive IP68/69k protection rating that is resistant to high-pressure washdown and cleaning solutions,” says Helge Hornis, PhD, Manager, Intelligent Systems. “These design features also provide exceptional protection of internal electronics without encapsulation. This reduces thermal stress on the internal electronics, making the module particularly well suited for applications where frequent temperature swings are present,” he says.
Sealing at the AS-Interface flat cable is another significant advantage. This is achieved by leveraging the same field-proven technology used on Pepperl+Fuchs passive splitters. The symmetric sealing contours around the gold-plated piercing pins provide a precise fit to the AS-Interface cable. The only externally exposed materials are impact resistant and chemically inert PBT and stainless steel. The sturdy mounting base attaches with just two M5 screws and further enhances the impact resistant round design.
“The G11 family is already compatible with AS-Interface POWER24 and can operate on 24 VDC. As a result, a separate AS-Interface power supply is no longer necessary. The outputs provide a cumulative current of 4 A, and in the event of a short circuit at the output, not only is the fault transmitted to the controller, a red LED at the relevant M12 port indicates a fault. This reduces troubleshooting and increases machine uptime,” says Dr. Hornis.
Pepperl+Fuchs offers a comprehensive family of AS-Interface networking solutions. The AS-Interface wiring system is one of the most useful and versatile networks available for automation applications. It replaces more complex and cumbersome wiring systems and drastically simplifies wiring and diagnostics. Turck Quick-Disconnect CSA Secondary Conduit Seal

TURCK announces the new 7/8-16UN minifast® explosion-proof feed-through receptacle that is certified as a secondary conduit seal by CSA. This quick disconnect solution may be used as a secondary conduit seal to prevent gas migration or as a boundary seal when used with a TURCK CSA certified cordset. It may be used in Class I, Division 2 locations without intrinsically safe circuits and Class I, Division 1 locations with intrinsically safe circuits.
The explosion-proof feed-through receptacle is fully potted in a durable 316 stainless steel housing and can withstand 2,000 psi of pressure. The receptacles install directly into 1/2-14NPT threaded conduit entries, and are rated for 600 V and 9 A. When used as a secondary conduit seal, the receptacles are limited to 30 V and 600 mA. It also provides IEC IP67 protection against liquid ingress when a mating connector is attached.
Phoenix Contact UT 6-TMC M Series Circuit Breakers

Phoenix Contact introduces a new range of circuit breakers that combines the advantages of fuse terminal blocks with the benefits of thermal-magnetic circuit breakers. The UT 6-TMC M series is a resettable, single-pole circuit breaker with screw connection.
Tripped circuit breakers on the TMC are clearly indicated and can be easily reset with the press of a button. The series is available in 11 graded steps for nominal currents from 0.5 to 16 A. Two bridge shafts simplify distribution.
Measuring just 12.3 mm wide, the UT 6-TMC M circuit breakers occupy 30 percent less space than conventional 17.5-mm circuit breakers. The series is part of Phoenix Contact's CLIPLINE Complete system, which features standardized push-in bridging, marking and testing accessories for all connection technologies.
