Phoenix Contact open-style ring screw (RSC) and ring bolt (RBO) terminal blocks are manufactured in a compact, modular design in 9mm and 13mm pitches. Developed as a direct replacement for traditional barrier blocks, RSC and RBO terminals are available in DIN rail or panel-mount versions. Barrier blocks, which utility companies have used for many years in industrial control/switchgear applications, are rigid products with fixed, pre-determined configurations.
RSC and RBO sliding links provide a common disconnect function. An optional shorting kit enables feed-through terminals to be easily converted into a shorting assembly for current transformer (CT) applications, prevalent in the power utility market.
