The SMART Position Sensor Arc Configurations, which join the 75 mm and 225 mm Linear Configurations launched in December 2009 and October 2010, respectively, sense the position of a magnet relative to a sensor in one of two available sensing ranges: 0° to 100° and 0° to 180°. These new position sensors enable highly accurate motion control and improve operation efficiency and safety. Their non-contact design eliminates mechanical failure mechanisms, reducing wear, improving reliability and durability, and minimizing downtime. They may potentially be used in industrial, aerospace, medical, and transportation applications.
