Omron Electronics has announced that they will discontinue their F3C-AA and F3C-AL roller conveyor sensors, effective January 31, 2009. No exact replacement series is available, however, Omron’s E3Z-L diffuse laser sensor with background suppression can be used in some applications as a conditional replacement.
