Phase II of Phoenix Contact’s 1000 series unmanaged Ethernet switches are available in seven new fiber variants in both Fast Ethernet and Gigabit-speed models.
Fiber models have the same features and benefits as the original all-copper models introduced in 2020, and support QoS processing, meet PROFINET Conformance Class A, and have UL approval for hazardous location installations.
FEATURES
- The use of SFP modules for fiber connectivity, or additional copper connections, provides end users with additional flexibility in their topology.
- Ultra-slim design frees up needed space in the control cabinet for vital Ethernet connectivity with slim fiber switches. At only 22.5 mm, the 1000 series switches are much smaller than the average competitor.
- Five different mounting orientations to cover any DIN rail or panel application.
- Industrial communications are prioritized in highly active networks so that mission-critical packets are sent through the network first.
- End users can save upwards of 40% of the cost to run the 1000 series when it automatically switches to a lower energy consumption when not processing network traffic.
