Banner Engineering H10 MultiHop Wireless Data Radios

Banner Engineering's H10 Series data radios operate in scalable MultiHop wireless networks, ensuring reliable communication over long distances. A single radio enables direct communication from up to six sensors to a MultiHop master radio, reducing the cost and complexity of installation. They are powered by an internal D-cell battery or an external 10-30VDC power source, giving users tremendous flexibility in deployment.

Monitor Equipment over Long Distances
Wireless networks that use H10 Series data radios have an almost limitless capacity for range. Build your network around a DXM wireless controller with a MultiHop master radio and one or more H10 radios configured as slave devices. Monitor multiple sensing points by connecting up to six 1-wire serial sensors to each H10 radio. Add more sensors by adding more H10 radios to the network. Extend the network to monitor more equipment by configuring additional H10 radios or other MultiHop radios as repeaters.

Collect More Data Using Fewer Devices
H10 data radios are compatible with Banner’s 1-wire serial sensors. Each radio supports up to six sensors in any combination connected in a cascade chain. You can monitor machine health and performance, area environmental conditions, and/or asset content levels, mixing or matching the sensors to meet the needs of the application. This makes it easy and cost-effective to gather data from multiple sensing points on one machine or monitor multiple machines using just one radio.

Access Detailed Health and Performance Data
Gain greater insight into the health of your equipment. When used with QM30VT1 vibration and temperature sensors, a DXM wireless controller with a MultiHop master radio will pull data from all available registers from each connected sensor. This provides users with access to advanced performance metrics that can be used to identify subtle changes in machine performance and expose issues caused by misalignment, unbalance, bearing failure, pump cavitation, blade damage, and more.

Speed Deployment and Simplify Data Analysis
Create a complete predictive maintenance solution using H10 data radios, 1-wire serial sensors, and a MultiHop Wireless Solutions Kits for Vibration and Temperature monitoring. The kits make it easy to setup a wireless network, collect remote data, and create visualization tools, warnings, and alarms. Each kit includes a pre-programmed DXM700 wireless controller, a touchscreen HMI, and 5-port industrial Ethernet switch.
