Schneider Electric Altivar 212 Variable Speed Drive

Schneider Electric announces the Altivar 212 variable speed drive designed to provide OEMs and control panel builders an energy efficient and economical solution for pump and fan applications. The Altivar 212 adjusts motor speed to the required flow of air or fluids, reducing energy costs by 30 percent. Engineered to reduce maintenance costs, the Altivar 212 features electronic motor controls that reduce the mechanical stress on belts, piping and ductwork and eliminate valve or inlet guide vane maintenance.

The compact size of Schneider Electric's Altivar 212 saves panel space, while offering an easy to use remote LCD keypad and configuration tool. The Altivar 212 is compatible with the Altivar LCD keypad and multi-loader. It also includes four integrated building automation networks and its reduced harmonic technology lowers wiring and short circuit protection costs.
